Located along the Big Sioux River in Sioux Falls, Sertoma Park is an oasis in the midst of the city.

The park itself is large, with ample space for picnics and play. A massive picnic shelter is located near six separate "play-pods" to accommodate lots of kids and families. There's plenty of open air, and the park offers convenient access to the bike trails that ring the city.

Sertoma Butterfly House is located at Sertoma park. Come visit their collection of over 800 butterflies flying free in their aviary. There is also an aquarium area full of exotic fish and marine life.

Sertoma Park is the home of the Sioux Falls Outdoor Campus, where school children from all over the region come to participate in outdoor activities year-round, like hunting and fishing classes, wildlife and conservation education, crafts, and even snow-shoeing.
